The 3 hour eco tour allows you to encounter the awesome animals that thrive in these local waters. Passengers may see dolphins, pilot-whales, seagulls, and more as you will cruise along through the various water ways of the Atlantic Ocean.
Our captains absolutely love their job and making sure everyone has a wonderful dolphin watching experience in Tenerife. Whether they’re sharing fun facts about our favorite playful dolphins or sharing the history of our area, our whale adventure tours are fun, educational, and unforgettable.
The Bottlenose Dolphin
At anywhere from 2-3 meters in length, the bottlenose dolphin is likely what you think of when you imagine a traditional dolphin. This is one of the most commonly spotted dolphins in the waters that surround Tenerife and likely one of the most playful as well! The bottlenose dolphin is blue and gray in coloration and when they’re in the mood, they’re likely to put on a jumping display around boats and on-the-water revelers.
Pilot whales
The Short Finned Pilot Whale is the cetacean species we most commonly observe on our Tenerife whale watching tours. The resident Pilot whale population along Costa Adeje, Tenerife, is one of the largest populations in the world! A wonderful opportunity for whale and dolphin watching in Tenerife.
